What attracted me to Wayhome is the fact that thier product is Sharia-compliant, with no borrowing or mortgage involved, providing peace of mind for me as a Muslim. With as little as 5% deposit, I will get to call this my own home and won't have to worry about being asked to leave.

Before they found Wayhome, Jennie and her two girls had been renting for years.
Despite saving a deposit (and never missing a rental payment) Jennie couldn't get a big enough mortgage for the home they actually wanted in the area they know and love.

We stumbled upon Wayhome when I received an email from Zoopla, after looking into the scheme further we decided to give it a go as we’d only managed to save a 5% deposit and we were having to move again due to our Landlords change in circumstance. We were approved and found a house we fell in love with and had an offer accepted. We’re now starting the conveyancing process and beginning to believe this may actually happen. Our landlord decided to put our home on the market at the end of our tenancy contract. We had been saving for this eventuality for two years, and had a relatively decent deposit and combined annual income. In our tricky situation we began looking into Wayhome further, reading through the FAQ’s with a fine-tooth comb for ‘the catch’. Well the truth is, there isn’t one. My only complaint is I wish I found wayhome much earlier. I can now buy a home almost 10 times my wages , with only a minimum 5% deposit, this gives me a much more wider choice of homes to hunt. Our experience with Wayhome has been amazing and we can't fault them on a single thing. From our very first introductory phone call (with lovely Nadia) we have been fortunate to deal with extremely professional and knowledgable staff, and response times have been excellent (even when we put in an offer during the Christmas break!). Despite being self-employed, Wayhome made it easy for us to buy a home with them – something which would have been difficult with a conventional mortgage.
